The Airport Vehicle Positioning System (AVPS) streamlines exchange of information between the control center and vehicles on the airport to reduce runway incursion and increase airport security. The information like the present positions of vehicles, no-entry areas, the state of vehicle movement in an airport, etc., will be shared by respective parties and vehicles via a dedicated network.
